Project Experience
Sumitomo Rubber TBR Machine Ladysmith, (KZN, South Africa)
The tire building drum is a central
component where the tire
components are assembled. It rotates
and assists in the precise layering of
various materials, such as the inner
liner, body plies, belts, and sidewalls.
Chassis Line Treatment Plant (Ford Motor Company Silverton Pretoria, South Africa)
The chassis is immersed in a
series of tanks containing a waterbased electrocoating paint or primer.
This electrocoating process involves
the application of an electrically
charged paint solution. The chassis
acts as the cathode, and positively
charged paint particles are attracted
to the grounded metal surface. This
process ensures complete coverage,
even in hard-to-reach areas, as the
paint particles adhere uniformly
across the chassis.
Chassis Line Treatment Plant (Metalsa - Toyota Guanajuato, Mexico)
As the chassis frames are submerged,
an electric current is passed through
the paint solution, causing the
charged paint particles to migrate and
deposit uniformly onto the metal
surface due to electrostatic attraction.
This process, known as
electrophoretic deposition, ensures
even coverage, including recessed and
hard-to-reach area
Fanuc Commissioning and Support
Knowledge of material handling
robots assist in the assembly of
vehicles by transporting components
to different workstations, aiding in the
assembly process, and handling heavy
or delicate parts.
